How do I make a purchase?

Shopping at ALLEGRA HICKS is easy: If you know what you are looking for, use the FASHION, HOMEWEAR and INTERIOR FURNISHINGS links to navigate the site.

Once you have found an item, select and click on the ‘ADD TO SHOPPING BAG’ button underneath each item. Do I need to set up an account to place an order?

No, you can shop at ALLEGRA HICKS without creating an account.

However, register your email address with us (via the mail icon to the top-right of the page) and you’ll be able to enjoy the following benefits ALLEGRA HICKS: Be notified about upcoming sales and events.

How do I know if an item is in stock?

All items are in stock unless “Item Currently Out of Stock” is displayed. Please be aware that even if an item is in your shopping bag, it can still be bought by another customer until you have completed your order.

If the product you want to buy is out of stock, please email shop@allegrahicks.com to find out if we can acquire it for you.

What payment methods does ALLEGRA HICKS accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, and Solo credit and debit cards. Please note that we do not accept any other methods of payment apart from those listed above.

Is it safe to use my credit card online at ALLEGRA HICKS?

At ALLEGRA HICKS, your personal online security is important to us. We use the latest SSL encryption technology to safely transmit your personal and credit card information through our systems. All orders are processed through a secure checkout system provided by PAYPAL. Additionally, for your safety and protection, we will confirm that the billing address you provide matches the address on file with your credit card company.

For additional security, we have introduced MasterCard® SecureCode. This service enhances your existing Maestro card against unauthorised use by prompting you for a private password every time you make a purchase with us. Does ALLEGRA HICKS ship to Post Office boxes or Freight Forwarding addresses?

Please note that we are unable to deliver to Post Office boxes.

How much duties and taxes will I have to pay?

By default, product prices are UK VAT inclusive until you proceed to purchase your order. Taxes and duties are then calculated according to your shipping destination and itemized on the Order Summary page.

Most destinations are shipped to on a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis, which means that all relevant import taxes and duties will be included in the product price. To view the most accurate price for your shipping destination, you will to e-mail us.

If a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) destination is selected, product prices displayed are exclusive of all taxes and duties, including UK VAT. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; payment of these is necessary to release your order. As we are unable to advise the amount this may be, we will always seek your confirmation prior to dispatching a DDU order.

Does ALLEGRA HICKS ship to multiple addresses?

Unfortunately, you may only ship to one address per order.

If your order contains gifts or items that require shipping to multiple locations, you will need to place separate orders for each address. For corporate orders, please contact shop@allegrahicks.com for assistance.

How soon can I get my order and how much will it cost?

We deliver worldwide, and offer different shipping options to meet your needs as listed below. Please note that your order will only be shipped once payment and delivery details have been approved. Order cut-off times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization.

What packaging will my order be shipped in?

Please note that all sale orders will be shipped in basic packaging.

Is my package insured?

All items are insured against theft and accidental damage whilst in transit from ALLEGRA HICKS to the shipping address. Once your items have been delivered to the specified delivery address and signed for, they are no longer covered by insurance.
If your box is damaged upon arrival, we recommend that you either refuse the delivery, or make a note when signing for it that you are accepting a damaged box.

Do I need to sign for my order?

Due to the high value of the goods that we sell, we require proof of delivery for all orders. This means we are unable to authorise packages to be delivered without a signature.

Can I change my shipping address after my order has been dispatched?

We are unfortunately unable to redirect orders once your items have been dispatched. Therefore, please ensure you provide a suitable shipping address for the specified delivery times.

Can I add items to an existing order?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to combine orders or add items to an existing order. If you would like all your items to be delivered together, you will need to cancel your order(s) and place a new order which contains all the items you require.

How will I know you received my order & when will payment be deducted?

After you place your order, you will be sent an email confirming that it has been received.

Your card will only be debited at time of dispatch. In the rare instance that any of the items you have ordered are not available, we will contact you by email and will only charge your credit card for the value of the items in stock.

Where is my order?

We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch, ALLEGRA HICKS is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive email confirmation of your shipping details and an tracking number.

How do I CANCEL, return or exchange an item?

A. 1. If you wish to cancel your order:

(a) you can notify us by email to returns@allegrahicks.com before we have dispatched the goods to you; or

(b) where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with clause 2 below.

2. You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you.

3. Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a refund to the value of the cost of the goods returned or an exchange credit as required. Delivery charges will not be refunded.

4. The rights to return the goods to us as referred to in clause 3 will not apply in the following circumstances:

a) in the event that the product has been used. We strongly advise customers to check items thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.
b) any products that we have made or customised specifically for you.
c) any merchandise on Sale.
d) all swimwear.
e) all lingerie.

5. We will accept the return of faulty items strictly at our discretion and only if they are not caused by misuse.

The provisions of the clauses 5. and 6. do not affect your statutory rights.

6. Receiving a refund: Refunds will be made within 30 days of the date of cancellation notice. All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchaser’s credit card including sales taxes for all EU country shipments including shipment charges. Customers are responsible for any shipping charges incurred when returning the item. International customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable for shipments outside the European Community (EU).

Is my personal information kept private?

Please be assured that your personal information is kept private and confidential and at no point will we rent or sell this.

To register at ALLEGRA HICKS so we can notify you about upcoming sales and events, we will need to know your name and email address. When processing your order online we require your billing address, shipping address, telephone number, credit card number and expiration date. If necessary, these details may be shared with a credit reference agency to verify your order.

Please note that ALLEGRA HICKS may use your contact details to inform you of the latest arrivals from your favorite designers and fabulous new services via email. If you would prefer not to receive these updates, please click unsubscribe on the website.

What are your delivery charges?

Allegra Hicks Delivers both within the UK and Internationally. All UK orders will be charged at £8. All international orders will charged at £20

Does ALLEGRA HICKS have seasonal sales?

ALLEGRA HICKS offers seasonal sales. These are indicated on-line and customers will also receive notification of our sales provided they have signed up on the web site and are on our mailing list.

Can I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive email confirmation of your shipping details and a tracking number from us, which can then be used to contact the shipper and track your shipment.
