I don’t often eat sweets but when I do, I eat with my eyes so they have to be pretty. It is for sights like these that I avoid making too strict a New Year’s resolution because it is too much of a shame to miss out!
I love the work of the 90-year-old artist Jonas Mekas. The Lithuanian-born artist has documented most of his life through film, always on the lookout for moments of beauty. The retrospective exhibition at the Serpentine Gallery is a must and runs until the 27th of January.
I love this drawing of a charcoal butterfly because it is realistic while abstract at the same time. The butterfly is symbolic of change so what better image to lead us into the New Year!
